Steve McCollom AIA IIDA, has been a Global Design Lead at Intuit for over 12 years and is known for his approach to workplace environments that balance aesthetics with operational and functional considerations. He partners with multi-disciplinary design teams and end-users to create spaces that work, inspire and adapt. During his 40+ years of experience with design firms and as an owner, Steve has been responsible for a wide variety of architectural projects – including corporate, government, hospitality, residential and healthcare. Steve has always prioritized giving back to the profession and community. He was a member of the AIA National Interior Architecture Committee, has served multiple terms on the IIDA Northern California Board of Directors and one term on the International Board, and the UC Berkeley Extension Interior Architecture Advisory Board. He has also been a Global Co-Chair of the Intuit Pride Network, an Ambassador for the AIDS Emergency Fund in San Francisco, a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and pro bono designer for the San Francisco GLBT Historical Society.
