Jeanie Lai, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, is a design principal at Bora Architecture & Interiors. As an architect and interior designer, she works across multiple scales weaving compelling concepts, craft, and materiality to create authentic places uniting people, cultures, and history. Passionate about design as an agent of positive change, she actively advocates for equity-centered design, leading a design process that elevates listening and lived experiences to create more inclusive, socially just and sustainable environments. Jeanie has led the design of numerous projects in her 24-year career, with experience in academic environments, civic and cultural centers, and collaborative workspaces.
