Emily Dickinson is a senior medical planner at HKS. Having specialized in healthcare design for almost 20 years, she has extensive experience designing federal and community medical centers with a focus on templating and standardization. She is a holistic and thoughtful architect that values consensus building and integrated teams. In addition to project practice, Emily has taught collegiate design studios, been the AIA AAH regional representative, and is heavily involved in Girl Scouts and DC Diaper Bank. Emily believes that designing for some of life’s most vulnerable moments is a great honor.
